Le Vezzose (The Graceful), formed by Mónika Mezei and Júlia Sárkány, is a Hungarian vocal ensemble with a mainly 17th century repertoire, including works by Barbara Strozzi, Claudio Monteverdi, Heinrich Schütz and Henry Purcell. They perform regularly to enthralled audiences in Budapest. In this concert they are joined by two other singers, Maria Viz and Peter Keresztessy, to present a varied programme of solos, duets and trios from the baroque era. All four singers are members of Ars Nova Sacra who are also performing in the Festival on Sunday June 26

Velocity TrioThe newest offering from this multi-award-winning British trombone star. Strongly infused with jazz and swing, Velocity Trio has a progressive, contemporary and (as you might expect from Mr Badbone) funky edge to its sound. Featuring organ virtuoso Ross Stanley and flamboyant Portuguese drummer Pedro Segundo, the synergistic energy of this project is truly unique, eclectic and mesmerising. Over the years, Dennis has lent his stylish talents to some of the world's top jazz and pop personalities such as Courtney Pine, Baba Maal, Jamiroquai, US3, Brand New Heavies and Blur. In the 2005 Arts Festival he gave an unforgettable performance to a sell-out crowd and he will undoubtedly do so this time. Book early!
