Do you want free, impartial advice about the technologies available to you and what grants are available to assist you in producing your own energy? Then come along to the Alternative Technology Centre in Hebden Bridge next week.

During three unique evening events we will guide you through biomass, solar thermal and solar photovoltaics technology. We will help you understand the technology and provide you with the information you will need to install one of these systems in your own home.

Tuesday 27 January: Biomass – hear first-hand how you can use wood fuel to provide heating and hot water for your home, and see a wood pellet stove in action.

Wednesday 28 January: Solar thermal – you can use solar energy to provide you with up to 60% of your hot water needs. Hear from experienced staff about the grants and practicalities of installing a system.

Thursday 5th February: Solar photovoltaics – the sun can provide you with electricity for your own home and can be fed into the national grid providing you a payback. Find out how the technology works and if your home can benefit.

All three events are being held at 7.30-9pm at:
